SACR Striking Competition and AGM: Edinburgh

The SACR AGM and striking competition will be held in Edinburgh on Saturday 16 May. Zoe will send further details regarding the striking competition in due course but do please consider getting a team together and joining in. There are two trophies to be won – the Inveraray trophy and the St Andrews shield

 

The programme for the day is as follows. The Walpole Hall will be open all afternoon if you need somewhere to shelter

10.30–12.00    General 12 bell ringing - St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral

12.00–13.00    Own lunch arrangements with Walpole Hall open for tea and coffee

13.00 – ~16.00    Striking competition St Cuthbert's

~16.00–17.00   General ringing St Cuthbert's

17.00–17.15    Short service St Cuthbert's

17.30–19.00    Striking competition results, SACR AGM and tea Walpole Hall

 

Parking in Edinburgh is very expensive and on street parking is time limited in most areas. There are good park and ride options and regular bus and train services and I would highly recommend you avoid bringing a car into the centre if you can
